A terrific game this one as Worthing fell just 6 runs shy of their target against a strong Brighton and Hove side. Batting first B&H scored 227 all out in 40 overs, with Martyn Swift claiming 4 for 54, Nick Ballamy 3 for 15 and Mayur Patel 2 for 56. Jack Stuart took the other wicket.
In reply Worthing's batting all chipped in with Josh Goldsmith scoring 38, Kevin Punter 24, Patel contributing with the bat with 59, Lloyd Crathern 19 and Ballamy 27, but they lost their final wicket on 222, falling just short.
