Senior Presentation Evening
Don't forget the Senior Presentation Night on the 30th of Septemberat the Vintner's Parrot.
Anyone who's played in the senior teams could be awarded a trophy, so miss it at your peril!

3.9.11 - 2nd XI v Pulborough
A fitting end to a great season for the 2s as they notched up their 13th win of the season and secured the title alongside their promotion.
Skipper Justin Watts won the toss and elected to bat, piling up 200 for 6 in just under 46 overs. Bradley James scored 77, Alex Harris 32 and Tom Lund 57 not out.
In reply Pulborough got off to a good start but were pegged back by the spinners Harry Dunn (3 for 30), Mason Crane (2 for 23) and Nick Gunning (1 for 45) before Shane Felton came on and mopped up the tail to end with figures of 4 for 44 with Pulborough still 30 runs short of their target.
A fitting end to an excellent season.

3.9.11 - 1st XI v Bexhill
The 1s were 29 points ahead of Bexhill before the game began, so just needed to prevent their host from achieving maximum points in order to guarantee promotion. And that was all they managed as Worthing, having opted to bat, declared on 65 for 9, leaving the home side to knock off the runs in 10.4 overs without the loss of any wickets.
A sad end to what has generally been a terrific season, culminating in the league title and the opportunity to play in the Premier League next season.
