1st XI v Findon (Home):
A relatively comfortable win for Worthing in a low scoring game at the Manor. The visitors won the toss and opted to bat first and having removed the opening pair of Matt Green (42) and Brad James (23) this looked to be a good decision as the hosts were dismissed for just 158 in 46.3 overs.

Findon's reply never got going as Mason Crane claimed 6 for 27 and Nick Ballamy 3 for 27 as the visitors collapsed to 90 all out in just 20 overs. Worthing remain fourth in the league.

Scorecard

2nd XI v Cuckfield (Away):
Tom Lund's side travelled to Cuckfield where they lost by 5 wickets but remained in the promotion places by a solitary point. Lund lost the toss and the hosts opted to bowl first. Worthing made 227 for 5 from their 53 overs with Alex Harris (52), Stuart Carter (55) and Lund (47 not out) the main contributors.

The hosts achieved their target with 11 balls to spare for the loss of just 5 wickets with Harry claiming 2 for 48 and Dave Leader 2 for 37.

Scorecard

3rd XI v Eastergate (Home):
A loss to league leaders Eastergate for the 3rd XI, who won the toss and elected to bowl first. Eastergate made 172 all out with Kevin Punter claiming 6 for 58 in 15 overs.

The reply stuttered to 90 all out with only Adam Bastable making more than 20 as Worthing dropped to the foot of the tale.

Scorecard

Another win for Glenn Harris' team, this time against Henfield. Worthing were asked to bat first with Harris smashing 97 in a total of 242 for 6 from 40 overs, ably supported in the main by Lloyd Crathern's 44.

Henfield were dismissed for 152 as James Belton took 3 for 38, Robson Piper 2 for 42, Sanjeev Kalra 2 for 26 and Jaynil Patel 2 for 18. Worthing remain 2nd and well placed to get promoted.
