Worthing moved off the foot of the table with this vital first win of the season against Dome Mission. Finally the batsmen put up a decent total for the bowlers to bowl at.
Worthing won the toss and elected to bat, compiling 190 for 9 from 49 overs, with Mayur Patel, making his debut for the club scoring 58, Jamie Carter 32, Lloyd Crathern 19 and Matt Thorne and Steve Pearse 17 each.
In reply Dome Mission fell 23 runs short with Patel again starring with 3 for 49 alongside Joe Westlake's 3 for 24 and Sanjeev Kalra's 2 for 21.
This should lead to a surge up the table with some big games coming up!
