A youthful Worthing 4th team took to the field against Broadbridge Heath on Saturday and although they lost still remain 23 points clear at the top of the league. In posting just 139 all out they gave themselves little to bowl at, although Lloyd Crathern dug in for a form rediscovering 80 to hold the innings together.
Heath lost just 4 wickets in their reply, but the side shouldn't be too downhearted as it was literally men against boys, and our lads gave a good account of themselves.
I will try to post a more in-depth report when the scorecard goes online.

well the chances of that are slim to none.. Cheers Mr Osland for depriving my averages of a much needed boost!
ReplyDeleteIt was me who wrote the report Lloyd - sorry. Although the scorecard might be on the site now
ReplyDeleteAPPARENTLY it was Lloyd who did the card though.. Some details there but ZERO info on our batting effort
