A disappointing result for the 4th XI as they lost to Serendib 2s, who as a result closed the gap on them at the top.
Having been put into bat by their host Worthing made 237 all out thanks in the main to Barry Cool's unbeaten 165, but aaron Tugnutt batted well to get himself 25 and Dan Stuart with 12 being the only other people to score double figures or more.
The hosts reached their target with 6 wickets gone with James Aylen taking 3 for 38, San Wookey 2 for 26 and Cool himself taking the remaining wicket.
