Another solid performance to keep Worthing in the promotion places after a 7 wicket victory over Haywards Heath. Heath won the toss and elected to bat making 211 for 8 and declaring with 2 overs remaining presumably feeling that they had enough. Wickets were shared around with Mason Crane claiming 2 for 48.
They were on the wrong end of Stuart Carter's bat however as Worthing's number 3 smashed 99 not out to see his side home as well as 63 from Dave Marshallsay and 27 not out from Tom Lund.
Worthing are now 62 points ahead of Glynde in third place having played a game more.
