2.7.11 - 3rd XI v Broadbridge Heath 1st XI

Another loss for the 3rd XI but plenty of positives to be taken once again, with a weakened side due to lack of availability. Worthing were put in by Heath and made 194 for 9 as Barry Cool top scored with 72 and Matt Payne and Jim Aylen chipping in with 22 apiece.

Heath got to their target 8 wickets down with a spirited bowling and fielding display from Worthing. Aylen took 3 for 69, Matt Thorne 2 for 82 and Sanjeev Kalra 2 for 25.

There are some must-win games coming up if the 3rd team can avoid the drop, but with availability seemingly Ok for next week, things may well be turning a corner.
