Result - 12.5.12

Only the 4th XI played and wished they hadn't having lost to East Preston "2nd" XI by 9 wickets. Ironically EP's 1st XI were rained off on the same day, but whatever makes you happy I suppose.

The forecast is better for next Saturday, so here's hoping that all the games are played!

All games were rained off today as the dodgy weather continues - it's been so bad that senior nets haven't been able to go ahead yet!

Fingers crossed for next week!

Season 2012 Starts

The season is pretty much upon us now with the first league games on Saturday, assuming that it stops raining at some point!

There is also the annual Quiz Night on Friday 4.5.12 from 7.30pm at the club. The usual stuff and questions for all the family! £1 per person over 16 and 50p per person (16 and under).

New Season

It's an exciting time at Worthing CC, with the first team embarking on the Premier league for the first time in almost a decade, the seconds in the top division of the 2nd XI competition as well as big seasons for those teams in the West Sussex Invitation League, including our new 6th XI!

The junior teams have big seasons too, and the club has invested a lot of time and resources into ensuring that the best facilities are available.

On top of that we finally have the go ahead for the access work at the Manor and Sky TV in the bar.

Good times, so make sure you are part of it!
